When Your Project Begins - It goes into our pre-press department, it goes through a pre-flighting process. During this process, every detail is carefully examined for missing or confusing information. We examine every file thoroughly to ensure we have all the information needed.
Our prepress department is kept up-to-date with the latest software (Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, etc). Using state-of-the-art Prinergy Workflow on both PC and Macintosh workstations, our prepress specialists prepare your project for production. We are able to provide services such as color correction and photo manipulation and typesetting edit work.
How to Make a “Proper” .pdf
Since our Prinergy workflow is an advanced .pdf based workflow, it makes sense to provide some basic information for our customers to know the best way to produce a usable .pdf from the two most popular prepress/page layout software bundles.
Below, we have links for creating top notch pdfs from your artwork by following some basic steps. That way, when you send your completed pdfs to us, they will be perfectly compatible with our system. If you click on the InDesign link below, you also have the option of downloading and installing the “.joboptions file” which has all our settings preset!
